The Iver Make-up Academy, based at the world-famous Pinewood studios in Buckinghamshire, is recruiting prospective students for its fantastic, intensive three-week module which focuses on Further Prosthetics Make-up FX Course.
This module in the Iver curriculum is extremely popular and one that provides a huge amount of value in a short space of time to those interested in a career in the screen industries, with a focus on prosthetics and special effects. The course is brought to students by The Iver Academy’s industry professionals whose careers move between teaching and working on-set as prosthetics make-up artists, so they are right at the cutting edge of the industry.
The prosthetics and special effects side of the film and television industry is constantly changing and developing, and the fact that our tutors are a part of projects that are currently being made means the techniques being taught at the Academy are the most relevant and contemporary skills being used. The course teaches students all the fundamentals of life casting, sculpting, mould-making, and application required to create bespoke prosthetics.
